Lesson from my journey

The β€œzero to one” journey is never linear. The founders who build lasting companies are rarely the ones with the best plan at the start - they are the ones who stay curious, iterate quickly, and resist the temptation to scale before they have earned the right to. I have deep respect for founders who combine resilience with patience and perseverance - those who are willing to do the unglamorous work, sit with ambiguity, and keep showing up long enough to discover what truly works.

Philosophy

Early-stage investing is, at its core, an act of imagination. You are not evaluating what a company is today; you are trying to see what it could become. I work closely with founders building in ConsumerTech, partnering with them often at the idea stage or when the product is still taking shape.

What excites me most is partnering with founders who bring a deep personal understanding of the problem they are solving and the resilience to keep iterating through uncertainty.

I spend my time at the intersection of technology, changing consumer habits, and new forms of commerce.

‍

Journey

I have been with Kalaari for 5+ years, and my seven years in venture and startups have shaped how I think about the "zero to one" phase. Before joining Kalaari, I was part of the founding team at TravClan, a seed-stage startup where I worked on strategy and product. Building from scratch, with limited resources and no roadmap, taught me what early-stage founders actually face and what kind of support genuinely helps.

‍

Perspective

Consumer fascinates me because it is where technology most visibly reshapes behaviour at scale - how people spend time, discover products, and build habits. It is dynamic, culturally driven, and constantly evolving, making it one of the most compelling spaces to build in.

‍

I am particularly drawn to founders who understand these shifts intuitively and are able to translate that insight into products people come back to. What excites me most are the earliest conversations, when the path is still unclear and conviction is the only real asset on the table.

‍

Lesson from my journey
We have an almost unlimited capacity to underestimate ourselves, and my hope is simply to help people dream big often far beyond what they initially believe is possible.
