India's software story has moved through distinct phases. Global delivery. Cloud products. Deep workflow ownership. We're now at the start of a fourth: agentic, intelligent systems that replace or open entirely new markets. Each phase built muscle the next one needed. The founders I find most interesting right now see that the real opportunity isn't the AI layer alone, but the compounding advantage from owning a workflow end-to-end and learning from it over time.
5.5 years across operator and investing roles, split between Berlin and Bangalore. I spent my early years in the founder's office of a German-Israeli growth-stage security company, where I picked up a feel for enterprise sales, product strategy, and what the zero-to-one journey actually looks like from the inside. On the investing side, working across early-stage funds in Europe focused on Climate-tech and AEC Tech taught me how to source, build conviction, and go deep in technical markets. I joined Kalaari two years ago and focus on Vertical AI (Health, AEC Tech), AI Ops, and Cybersecurity. Most of my time goes into speaking with founders across these sectors and building automation into my own workflows.
I'm interested in companies where deep domain expertise translates into control over high-value workflows. Products that live inside systems of record, learn from real usage, and build a data and context advantage that compounds over time. Outside of work, I watch and over-analyse films, read across political biography and modern history, and am a bit of a productivity nerd when it comes to new AI tools.
