Abha has over 10+ years of experience across venture capital investing and transaction advisory. At Kalaari she is currently focusing on investments in healthcare sector and also on interesting solutions that cater to women consumers.
She is an active part of CXXO initiative at Kalaari which empowers women founder CEOs in India. Prior to Kalaari, she was part of a sector-agnostic Venture Capital fund ($50mn) at Tata Capital for 8 years investing in novel technologies including medtech, biotech, agritech, advanced materials, manufacturing solutions. She managed the deal lifecycle end to end and was actively involved in fundraising initiatives and investor relations.
She worked extensively with portfolio partners to scale the business and to raise the follow-on rounds. She has also been a part of Transaction Advisory at EY- Parthenon focussing on healthcare domain wherein she led projects involving commercial due diligence, market assessment and building strategy.
By education, Abha is a medical doctor from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital followed by PGDM in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Outside of work, she is an artist who loves to pursue dance and has been a part of several stage performances across dance styles as also choreographed for events. She also volunteers for social causes that are close to her heart and believes in giving back to society through actions.
