Siblings Rahul and Swati Gupta had successful careers in the US but returned to India when they spotted an opportunity to make industrial procurement in India a lot easier than it was. In 2013, they launched Industrybuying.com, the country’s first industrial e-commerce portal. A proprietary flexible technology platform, an omnichannel presence and a rapidly growing catalogue of industrial product categories has attracted over 500 brands and 1,000 suppliers to the site. E-commerce in the B2B space is finally coming into its own.
